Harmonise existing methods
Review and align established targeted methods across partner laboratories using techniques such as LC-HRMS, LC-MS/MS and GCMS.

Develop hidden-PFAS methods
Test oxidation and other transformation approaches, including TOPtype assays, to convert selected precursors into measurable compounds.

Validate methods on real samples
Optimise procedures for consumer products and environmental matrices, assessing sensitivity, selectivity and reproducibility.

Support shared capacity
Train researchers from partner organisations to apply harmonised methods in their home laboratories.
